Imagine losing two of your best pitchers (one a potential high level draft prospect) pre-season/ early and having a team of young guys. We all knew we had problems this year, no-one expected much after the first two weeks. But I guarantee you, even if by some miracle Tenn makes it to Nebraska, the commentators will be talking about LSU and their coach search during your games. Because LSU baseball, as a program, is the Gold Standard for an SEC baseball team.

As bad as they have played at times, I was still dreading the fact they may end up in the Ruston regional. Teams that have been there and done that just seem to play different in post season.

Haven’t been to the CWS since 2017, and so LSU is looking for a new coach.
