When we go beyond the revenue sports of Football and Men's Basketball, a lot of these "Olympic sports" are just fun to keep up with because you don't have these ridiculous expectations for. And you don't invest a whole group of boosters in the sport.

That's what makes these other sports fun is that these girls and guys are actually student athletes.

I know us at Mississippi State were happy to be in 2nd place the past 2 years in Women's Basketball and have celebrated that. There's just a connection there like I see with your gymnastics program since both of us fill it up for that. We just have women's basketball more since we don't have a gymnastics team.

No it's not the gold but they celebrate gold, silver, and bronze in the Olympics so it's not like celebrating a beat down to Clemson. Plus Oklahoma is a dynasty in that sport now woah

To be fair Miss State celebrates second because they haven’t actually won a national title.

To be fair MSU has made the Final Four in WBB and MBB more times than Alabama MBB ever has.

Alabama gymnastics made a crazy number of super sixes in a row but we don’t hang super 6 banners because we have national championship banners.

It’s a little different in basketball.

Something a South Carolina fan would know plenty about.

Yeah sorry if your entire point in this thread is about coming in second in WBB, you’re the broken one

It’s been fun to make light of the pictures from LSUs 2nd place finish, but their fans aren’t celebrating it. That’s the difference between MSU and LSU fans

If only SC was relevant enough to finish in 2nd place nowadays. I guess at least you're second to the Citadel?
