With LSU having the best QB play in its history, how much will it fall off next season? Do you expect it to continue due to the coaching, or is Burrow that talented. I am guessing probably some of both.

I see you have a Sophomore and 4 Freshman behind Burrow. Is Brennan the heir apparent? And who in the frick has 5 QB's on their roster? I am guessing there is a walk on or two in there. TIA

Based on empirical evidence, our QB play should improve as much next year as it did this year until infinity.

It’s actually a good question, and, if we’re being honest, we have no idea.

I would assume the coaching staff does, though.
We just need to have someone solid til 2023 when we can continue solidifying the new LSU QB dynasty with Arch Manning.

I am sure there will be a learning curve but either Peter Parish or Brennan will get the nod

Brennan should be the guy.. He has a stronger arm than Burrow, and he throws a prettier ball. He will have a learning curve early in the year due to his lack of experience. I do not think he will come close to matching Burrow's numbers, and he will probably throw a few more INT. I think he will still be pretty good, though. If he can reach the 2,800yd mark with 25 tds we should be in good shape, since all of our talented running backs will have more experience.

Brennan has a cannon. He can make throws Burrow can’t, but needs to gain some weight and work on accuracy.

That being said, I’m not expecting a large move either up or down in our passing game

ETA: I don’t think Brennan will match Burrow’s historical numbers, but I don’t think you will see the level of play regress much, if that makes any sense

Burrow is that talented.

Brennan won't be as good. But Brady will put him in a position to succeed.

LSU will return every weapon around him (probably not Jefferson) - so he'll have help.

brennan will be just fine. I wouldnt expect his numbers to be anywhere close to burrow, and there will be a learning curve.

but he will be fine- unless you read the tiger rant. then the sky is exploding

Brennan will be good next year

some don't believe in him yet, the same way they didn't believe in burrow last year.

hes been iffy this year but has been playing with second in third team and has barely played. Has had a couple big drops from our backup wrs as well

Ditto. Brennan has the potential to be dynamic in this offense. They key with him will be consistency. He will have a lot of help next year.

Pretty much everyone "believed" in burrow last year. No one expected him to be a Heisman candidate but he was solid from day one. As of right now I don't feel the same about Brennan. He has arm talent for days but just seems scared back there. In addition to putting on about 30 pounds, he needs to gain a lot of confidence and maturity

Burrow's improvements can be attributed to WR catching the ball this year. Burrow is much better, but it cannot be understated that the WR improvement from last year to this year has been more significant. Brennan will have those tools next year because the WR core is very young. Brennan has all the physical gifts, question is how is he under pressure and reading defenses.

Nope. We have nothing. After Burrow, we're shutting the program down.

If OM is still shiddy enough that we don't have a 50/50 chance on Arch coming out then the RebSharks should just stop playing football

Burrow is a grad student and a smart coaches son. My guess he is more advanced with film study and defense break down with the time to apply him self to football. That doesn’t come along often.

The starting o line this week should be two seniors and three juniors. Who comes back? Makes a big difference.

We are all hoping Brennan and Parish are soaking it up but who knows. If Brennan starts next year 80% as effective as Burrow I would be happy.

I think it will depend on whether Joe Brady is still at LSU.
Someone else please hire this man!!!

People, especially LSU fans, don't understand how asinine 80% completion percentage is.

it WILL fall-off next season. And even if Myles Brennan is like 70% complete, it won't meet expectations, and spoiled LSU fans will say he sucks. lol.
