Bama is the only ones who can say that, and they have 2 more.

Could be tied if you don't get the Mulligan. :/

Impressive how LSU keeps winning with “Saban’s players” 15 years after he left.

And played for a 4th. But no...it’s lightning in a bottle around here.

...but, I will say that 2007 is sort of weak.

You lost to Kentucky and Arky and still got a shot at grossly overrated Ohio State.

Otherwise, it's impressive.

So who would you crown as the 2007 national champion? I'm sure if A&M won the national championship under the same circumstances you would have cups at Kyle Field depicting that season for the next 40 years.

A weak national champ still holds the trophy.

No it isn’t by any means. By far the best team in the nation THAT season. A totally insane season all over.

Now is that team in the conversation to be an all time great like this one? Of course not.

Bitter ending but 2011 was impressive also.

If it wasn’t for terrible Alabama kickers, Alabama would’ve beaten LSU something like 15/18-6.

LSU got lucky Alabama special teams was arse that year and got exposed in the post season.

2007 was a fricked up season that seriously challenged the BCS system and is probably the very reason we have a CFP now.

I just like giving y'all hell for losing to two basketball schools and still getting to claim a title.
