LSU has the strongest standalone CFB program in the country

That is to say that it doesn’t matter who the coach is, we’re going to have success. That has only been the case with one CFB program in the last 20 years, your own LSU Tigers.
6 active CFB head coaches won a national title as a head coach. 4 of those 6 have won a national title while being a coach for LSU.
LSU has had 3 coaches in the last 20 years. Each of those 3 have won a national title. LSU has never won less than 8 games a year in that time span either. And of those 3 coaches, 2 have been heavily mocked by fans/critics/analysts alike as less than stellar football minds. But it doesn’t matter, we win games and titles anyway.
Some programs have had more success than LSU in the plastic 20 years, but those programs owe that success to an all time great coaching legend. No program can boast the accomplishments that LSU has been able to achieve regardless of who is at the helm.

3 National Titles with 3 different head coaches, this side of the millennium.
Now think of all the SEC programs that haven't even been to a title, much less won a title, this side of the millennium.
Yikes.

Must be great to have zero in-state competition in a talent rich state. Enjoy.

This says it all right here.
Cheers to the GREATEST program to EVER do it!

Stop riding CNS coattails. He left your dump of a program

One of only two programs to ever win 15 games in a season (the other is Clemson, not A1abana).
Also, LSU is the home of the greatest college football team in the 150 year history of the sport.
Damn it feels good!

That is wild. FWIW, Brown did coach here for a year, so 5/6 is a part of the LSU tree.

In-State, out-of state; it doesn't matter.
LSU has largely intimidated every other program away from the recruits they want.
Then to be able to go into Houston and run shop helps as well. Just ask Texas Jr.

Out of the 3 National Title winning QBs that LSU had this century, not one of them was from Louisiana.
Pa is still shaking his head.

LSU fans demand to be told they're good like they're trying to convince themselves it's true.

Not all of us. I think these threads are dumb. I don't need other's approval to know what we've accomplished.

Always seeking big brother validation. Worse than auburn at this point. Bad look for them.

1. LSU claims the undisputed, greatest college football team of all-time.
2. LSU has never lost a national championship game to a team of a different conference. Especially by 4 touchdowns.
3. LSU then beat that same very team, from a different conference, who the year before had won the national championship game by 4 touchdowns.
