LSU has everything to lose against UCF and not much to gain

Not liking the matchup.
We’re playing a borderline D1 school without their starting QB. We win, not a big deal.
We lose, then we become the laughing stock of the conference all off season.
Would have rathered Michigan.

Well UF would rather play UCF. Just beat that weak community college commuter school, so they'll stfu.

Our Coach is Ed Orgeron, so we already lost and are a laughingstock.
The rest of the SEC and whole country laughs at us, and rightfully so.
I do not wish to play Michigan for the first time under these circumstances...neither Coach is worthy of such an honor for these two programs.

But that aside, if you lose UCF will claim another national championship. You want that in case Bama wins it all again.

LSU won’t lose to that team. 
I get the nothing to gain sentiment. As an LSU fan I would not be excited about this game at all.

UCF has won 2 major bowls this decade and are now in a third.
Honestly LSU has no right to not get up for a major bowl regardless of who the opponent is.

LSU will straight up cream UCF - wouldn't worry about it too much. They are better at EVERY position on the field, except possibly head coach

I say there's plenty to gain. This is the only SEC bowl game outside ours I really GAF about. Do what Auburn couldn't do and shut them up

Came to post this exact thing. With Milton out though, I dont think they are anywhere near as good. That guy made play after play in the bowl game last year. He is a slippery bastard. The new qb looked decent in the little I've seen him play but it was Memphis' defense he was facing.
LSU wins big imo.
