After whipping them in 2007 SEC Championship game, sent their program down da drain for two decades. Absolutely humiliated them last two times in Knoxville. Was beautiful to witness, beatdown in BR on the way in two weeks.

LSU sat on the throne of CFB in 2019. The next two years we weren’t even average.
One game at a time. I’m fine being unranked leading into UT. Fly under the radar as much as possible because the climb will be more enjoyable

I think the first LSU SECCG win over Tennessee (2001?) really hurt them.
Those hillbillies were in line to play Miami for the NC and were heavy favorites over LSU.
And LSU whipped their over confident butts.

The series is something like 20-10 in favor of the Vols. It was 20-5 Vols before the last 5 meetings.
Oct 8 should be a good game and measuring stick for both teams going to the meat of the SEC schedule.
