Why? Public ridicule and censor are a traditional means to correct bad behavior, and justifying Burton hitting a female with victim shaming in this case is pretty shitty behavior. I mean it’s on video, nobody is denying he did in fact strike her. But the Bama bitch brigade is still clinging to “he didn’t hit her that hard” and “she shouldn’t have been there” and despite zero collaboration “she called him a racial slur”. The last is just pathetic because it has no support, no one directly involved is making such a claim, as loud as it was between fireworks, the celebration, and Dixieland Delight blating she would have had to have been screaming it to be heard.
So no, I have no interest in letting it go until Burton takes ownership and apologizes, the AD/Saban release a statement owning this and apologizing for dragging their feet over this issue.
