LSU got no noon kicks in exchange for Bama and Tennesee to be rivals

didn't Birmingham Alabama tell LSU that in exchange for Bama to play lowly Tennessee every year and LSU to play mighty Florida every year that LSU wouldn't have any regularly scheduled noon kicks.
the hurricane game last year wasn't regularly scheduled so I understand that.

I'm pretty sure when the SEC went to divisional play in 1992 that LSU was the one that was lowly and Tennessee was the one that was mighty.
But then again according to some people, history only starts once your school becomes good. And in LSU's case, I guess they don't recognize anything that happened before 2001.

I believe I know what you’re referring to. Is it when the league expanded and the conference format was set to change? If that wasn’t put in writing somewhere or in the record of the minutes then this is one more thing worth firing Alleva over. If we can play an SEC home game at night then that is when we are playing it. Screw ESPN unless this is some bull shite make good from moving the game to CBS a few years ago.
