LSU football future

First of all I'd like to wish all my SEC friends a Merry christmas. I've seen a lot of post about LSU not being the same anymore and that we have fell to mediocrity! I will agree with that to an extent. Yes LSU lost to Troy and we haven't finished in the top 10 since 2012. But I don't think people realize that this team is on an upward trend right now. We have the chance to finish with 10 wins and a top 10 finish. Our season has turned around ever since that game and our offense is the not the same Power I bs that the SEC is used to seeing. We outgained Alabama in yards and we're able to move the ball on them (which we haven't done since metrenburger) Not to mention that O is keeping the big boys in state to play at home. (Besides slade bolden lol) Yes I agree that next year will really tell if coach O will get it done here. But the talent will be there. LSU will have the best D line in the SEC and maybe in all of college football. Ton of inexperience and injuries this year. But they have some real studs lining up to play next year and they will finally have a ton of depth unlike past LSU teams. The oline will also be very good next year depicting on if a couple guys stay. Had 2 freshman starting this year!! Remember the names Lowell Narcisse and Myles brennan. These guys our gonna be studs and the answer to what LSU has been needing. LSU is coming and making their way to the top again. Just watch

To be trending upward, you can’t be doing the exact same things you did under Miles.
I don’t think LSU has dropped but you definitely haven’t shown to be trending up.

Myles Brennan and Lowell Narcisse! My buddy who is a student Assistant with the staff has said that both of these guys are the best QBs LSU has had in very long time. Myles brennan is the more developed passer and has the chance to be great. Lowell Narcisse is the most athletic player on the team and has a cannon (but is very raw) but reports lately have been that he has recovered from his torn ACL's and has been lighting up the team in practice! With matt Canada at the helm and no more Miles or Cam Cameron. I'm willing to bet that one of these guys will be a stud

10 wins and a top 10 finish (if we beat ND) which hasn't been accomplished since 2012! That my friend is considered improvement

It only matters what happens on the college football field. So again.. You guys have questions at qb. Jefferson was a prime example of being overrated at lsu

Take off the purple and gold glasses...they are fogged up. I think LSU will be ok...10 wins? Not so sure about that next year.

Worry about your team, y'all seem to have some serious issues lol. Make a bowl game then you may talk. Also appreciate yall having us for homecoming

You can’t say LSU IS improved but base it on something that hasn’t happened.
2019 will be Orgeron’s make or break year. He’ll have two full recruiting classes made solely of his players and a third that he was heavily involved with during Miles’ last year and a returning junior quarterback or redshirt sophomore.
There are positives going forward, but let’s not get too optimistic based on a third place finish in the division.

I agree with this, but in terms of talent and depth in the trenches. Which is obviously a must need if you want to win the SEC. LSU will have its best oline and dline since 2011.That's the only reason why I believe LSU has a great chance next year. And obviously the QB needs to be better

LSU will always have a future. Here is proof... the corndog being passed to a new generation... Merry Christmas...

This is a pretty lazy analaysis of what’s going on here at LSU.

Pre-snap motion and the jet sweep was the only thing different from when Miles was coaching. LSU did play Tennessee who was winless in the SEC and 4 win Florida team. Let's see what happens when LSU swaps Tennessee for Georgia

Doesn't mean shite. One of my friends was on the camera crew a few years ago and he said the same thing about Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris.

Why do y’all do this to yourselves?
I actually feel sorry for the rational LSU fans. We’ve all got fans like you but I guess it’s just more prevalent considering this is a spin off of an LSU board.
CEO is not going to get you there, and in spite of the world’s greatest coordinators...rational LSU fans know this.
Some delusional Bama fans thought the same thing about Shula (not many but a few.). Even Awbs knew Chizik minus Cam was a fraud.
But thanks for the humor!

If there was ever a signature 14 point loss it is the Alabama/LSU 2017 game.

No shite Cajun, last year it was they held Bama to its lowest point total of the season... they lose by more this year and it is, yeah but we outgained you. I guess after 7 in ROW they have have to find a positive somewhere.. can't wait to what they come up with after 8, 9 and 10..
