Great recruiter , poor developer of talent.

mediocre recruiter, awful developer. Did nothing with Danielle Hunter. We were so excited to get O as DL coach

One of the best pass rushers in LSU history was Danielle Hunter.. and he was irrelevant while at LSU.

His job was to blow by the edge and the QB in the pocket. That’s it

I don't think every position coach has to be an ace recruiter. The times we kept too many coaches around because they could recruit, fundamentals start going sideways. It's actually very hard to find coaches who can do both.

As long as he’s accepted the fact that he’s just a DL coach he’d be an amazing hire IMO. We haven’t had a d line anything close to the ones he had since he left. People say he can’t develop players because of D. Hunter but he got a lot out of players who were far lesser pros then hunter.
