Biggest problem lies in front of the QB

Take your LSU glasses off one second: Burrow has a huge issue, it’s not keeping his composure under QB pressure.

Look at every game we struggled - once he felt any pressure his accuracy plummeted or he held the ball too long.

Bad OLines (which I think LSU’s OLine was a tad of a scapegoat because of the above) can be mitigated by a QB who has better pocket presence and footwork.

Burrow is just fine . All he needs is for the WR’s to stop dropping balls and an O-line that can dominate the line of scrimmage. That was probably 80% of LSU ‘s problem and maybe 20% O- coordinator.

And this is why y'all will suck next year. Joe Burrow is a run of the mill qb yet he's the best offensive player on you team.

I wouldn't actively recruit him...but if he calls saying he wants in, you have to take him. It really isn't that big of a stretch to say that he could be the 2nd best QB in the SEC.

wtf do you think jalen hurts is?

he's a d2 rb surrounded by the best players, system and coaches in cfb.

gtfo with jalen hurts. uf could use him, would be his best option.

Never a chance that would happen. If it did, he'd gladly tank the bama game.

Burrow has a great shot of winning a NC year than Hurts does of coming to LSU.

I'm fine with Burrow. He's set to have a good season in 2019.

How epic would it be for Jalen to go to LSU, win every game but throw 5 picks in a loss to Bama? Camera then catches him hugging Saban (giving a slight smile) after the game.

Carville’s head would explode. Tinfoil hats here would be calling for an FBI investigation again. And worst of all, Chicken wouldn’t open up the Rant until 12pm the next day.

I dont have any LSU glasse son, did you read my post?

Pro Football Focus (not me) graded every single LSU player on offense this year, the BEST player on offense via their own grading system was Burrow. According to THEM he performed the best of any player on offense.

You want to talk about LSU colored glasses then say this crap? Anyone with half a brain saw the OL was one of the worst ever this year at LSU, it was pitiful. Our RT graded out BELOW a 60 in every game but like 1 or 2 per PFF. He couldnt block anyone. As far as position group grades go, the OL and WR corps were by far lower than QB. They simply did not perform. When your OL cant block and WRs arent getting open and CATCHING footballs, guess what, it makes a QB's job hell.

Go look at S&P+ offensive line rankings, you will see LSU's towards the bottom of the country in pass protection and it's much worse than usual years in run blocking even. This OL was a total joke. It HAS to get revamped big time next year or we wont improve at all offensively even if Lincoln Riley was calling the plays.

That just means he performed the best, doesnt say who the most talented is. Burrow did a solid job this year considering how poorly the OL was and WR corps performed (tons of drops). Everyone just looks at QB stats and assumes xyz, in this case, pretty much everything worked against him this year. Running for his life half the time,. guys who couldnt catch, and a running game that couldn't really take pressure off him.

No, Burrow isn't Tua, but he still did pretty well this year given the circumstances. These aren't opinions, but what PFF saw as well.

Let's also rewind back to 2016 when everyone was also saying Etling is garbage, comes back the next season and was an extremely efficient passer overall and even got drafted. After watching both Etling and Burrow, if Burrow can get ANY blocking next year he can make more things happen.

We have a 5 star running back in John Emery carrying the rock coming in and don't need another RB
