Florida: 42-28
Auburn: 23-20
Alabama: 46-41
I would say of these three games, Alabama was the least competitive of the three

Auburn's defense was sensational
Florida was explosive
Alabama ... kept their heads up and tried really hard

I'd agree. Florida played a perfect 1st half. Auburn and Florida actually took the lead too.

Auburn’s defense is legit

Florida and Auburn were 1A-1B. Trask scared the crap out of me because he moved the ball at will and you ate up the clock. Our defense was gassed and we barely hung on. Late breaks were the key for us to finally pull out the win. Auburn mauled us on defense and the special teams mistakes nearly killed us. If they get even a modicum of decent QB play out of Nix they could have beaten us. Bama was rattled and tight from the start. It was like they were playing not to lose. Damn uncharacteristic of them. Far and away the third toughest.

I want to say Auburn, but we were or own worst enemy in that game. Probably Auburn.

Definitely Auburn. Bama was very lucky to get a punt return td, and the long td on a trick play where our dBs were all looking to the sideline when the ball was snapped. They want to cry about the Moss catch but to be honest there were at least 5 pass interference No Calls on Bama against Chase that would have resulted in more points. The score should have been much worse.
After Bama’s second possession of the game they never had a chance to tie the game or take the lead when they had the ball. Let that sink in.

I’d say Fla was the closest... it was toe to toe till your coach changed QB’s then they faltered...

Easily Florida.
Auburn has the best D, but their offense wasn’t really a threat to keep them in the game. Benefited from a muffed punt and a couple busted gap assignments.
We played well against Florida and they stood toe to toe with us for 2.5 quarters and even led. Really impressive showing by Trask and crew.
Bama never lead or held the ball with a chance to take the lead. They were a garbage time TD away from being outperformed by Vandy against us.

Did Bama have a chance to tie the game or take the lead after their second possession?
Don’t worry I will wait

Alabama never led us
Alabama never threatened to take the lead
Florida led us in the second half
Auburn gave us all we could handle.

It's too early for a melt. It's bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit time.
