LSU fans: What's going on with Delpit? Hurt? He hasn't looked like the same player

as last year.Obviously a talented guy who'll be taken in 1st Rd but he seemed to dominate games last year and not seeing the same this year.

He is hurt, but I'm not sure the extent to which that affects taking bad angles on opposing runners. I'm sure it plays a part

He has been off all year. He doesn’t wrap up at all. His tackling is just absolute shite.

That ankle is bothering him. He’s not as explosive as he usually is. He played fine yesterday except for that one big play he gave up.

Hurt in August, started season off slow. Healed up and played very well. High ankle sprain against auburn and it’s clearly effected him the last two games.

He didn’t play fine. He gave up on every play he was beat on, which was a lot. He has sucked all year and just because analyst says he’s a great player it has not reflected on the field this year.

He started to look great again for a few games before he got hurt toward the end of the Auburn game. If we can get him healthy, it would help tremendously. He was a liability last night and he was everything for the defense last year.

I don't remember him having any impactful plays and he was nowhere to be found on a number of big plays.

Someone said his shoulder or something was injured so that's why he just like dives at their feet. But really not sure what's going on with him. Maybe #7 is cursed now

Not wrapping up and with devin white gone he cant free range as much. Devin white cleaned up alot of others mistakes last year. This allowed delpit to do different things

It’s the curse of #7.
I think it’s a combination of a few things. He’s trying to do too much while dealing with injuries that have prevented him from being the player he was last year.

He got smoked on a number of plays last night and against Alabama. Just a shell of what he was last season. I am not sure what the underlying issue is, but there clearly is one.
