Also LSU fans: "Wow Billy Napier looks great. He's the offensive Saban. Go get him Scott!"

I don't want to hear that "you haven't played anybody" talk ever again!

This may be hard to grasp but those aren’t mutually exclusive ideas

But we can agree that you want a coach that we dumpstered, right?

shite. The only reason he would have a winning season (TBD) is that you play in a conference that is dog shite (by your own making).

You can sense the generation gap between the fans who experienced Curley Hallman and the ones who didn't.

Remember that time Texas blew two 21 point leads to the Sooners this past weekend?

Everyone here agrees Texas dumpsters more of its own coaches than it does coaches of other schools.

Truth.

The soap-opera that is longhorn football has more back stabbing, elitism, and narcissism than a novella. No premier coach would want that BS. Which is why they've been pigeonholed to the sub-prime if/then coaches like Herman and Sark.

Yup, I think this is also what’s going on out at USC. There comes a point when your “our shite don’t stink” attitude torpedos your program top to bottom.

“But that isn’t as relevant as us telling everyone we should be considered a blue blood”

Texas’ blood has been drained.

Since their last conference title (NC appearance) in 2009:

Aggies have TWO massive wins over a top ranked national championship/NC contender in Alabama

Baylor has two conference titles

Texas Christian has a conference title

Oklahoma State has a conference title

Kansas State has been AP #1 and has a conference title.

Lost their only conference championship opportunity to Oklahoma.

Got embarrassed on national television to inferior historical foe Arkansas.

TEXAS football will always be relevant, whether in a good or bad light because of the money and power they have. But they are easily a constant target for ridicule because with all that power, they should have more than FOUR national championships.

Also of note; the Horns three XII titles happened to be when Oklahoma had records of 3-8, 8-4, 8-5. It took either a crappy OU team or a rebuilding OU for Texas to actually do something.

By no means am I defending the Aggies as I can’t stand you guys either but it’s obvious the Aggies are in much better shape than the Horns.

And when A&M had records of 6-6, 5-6 and 6-7 respectively.
