LSU fans: should VOLS have melted after Bama knocked out our starting QB?

Twitter link of the hit
Guarantano left the field after this hit, and eventually headed to the locker room. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it sounds like it is his clavicle or ribs.
While watching the game, I thought nothing of the hit and did not see any whining by my fellow VOLS. However, after reading the board and watching an excellent LSU meltdown, I am beginning to think this is a REC conspiracy and should have been targeting.
So, LSU fans: should I melt or go about my weekend like a normal human being? TIA.

Probably would've if the backup wasn't playing just as good.

No, because it wasn’t targeting. And neither should have Whites.
That hit just highlights the subjective enforcement of a vague rule.
“Forcible” (subjective) contact to head or neck “area” (subjective)

Warning....teams should be careful when trying to knock out the starting QB for the next guy off the bench could be better. Then again I guess when you're already down 28 there isn't much pressure so let that baby fly. The 2nd guy threw some really good passes.

You don’t need to melt because your team is shite. We actually have something to play for....we know you have forgotten what that is like.

Vols are a beaten down fan base. You have accepted that y’all are sorry. Bad place go be.

Tennessee could’ve had Peyton Manning back there and it wouldn’t have made a difference. So it makes sense Tennessee fans weren’t upset about it, y’all seem to have accepted your mediocrity.

Probably have your Gov. contact the SEC office.

I'm beginning to think Smokey is the most intelligent of the Tennessee fans.

Hmm an LSU and a Tennessee cross melt??? I say give it a shot. Would be entertaining.

No melt needed from the Vols, that shitty team and their fans are use to losing. Talk about dragging the SEC down

Na , he wasn’t worth a crap anyway. Carry on

Restate your position in ten words or less.

So i guess the hit on Tua was targeting as well? See how easy it is!

Of course not. Tennessee has no players that, if removed from play, make any difference at all. Your team is all equally terrible, first through third string.
