If he makes good coord hires, lets them do their jobs, and recruits well (his actual skill), he can be. If he meddles he won't be.

If I was anybody doing decent in the SEC this year I would NOT be croaking so much because let's be honest the SEC is really down this year from top to bottom and in between!!!!

It shouldnt take a loss to a Sun Belt team to get a team motivated, especially when one of his big selling points was that he was a great motivator

Cautiously optimistic actually. A lot more since the L to Troy.

Plus, we won't have Mr. Underthrow on the roster next season

No f'ing way. After three years, if he has no SEC title or playoff appearance, fire him and get an up and comer. Saban should be on his way out in 5 or so. The west will open up again.

LSU fans have to be in a weird place right now.

Ed O doesn't feel like a long term, ground breaking guy. Seems like he could have a magical year once though with the right staff.

I'd be iffy as an LSU fan, but not completely want him gone quite yet either.
