Tennessee is a 2nd tier program that has a good stretch of games, acts like they're fricking Alabama, then bombs and has frick all to show for it.
They did it with basketball under Pearl. They did it with baseball just this year. We're currently witnessing phase 3 in football.

Georgia finally gets over the hump in the last 4 decades.
Tenn places second in the East/best result in a couple decades.
