John Chavis has been with the ags for a few years, but this is the first legitimately good team they've had since 2012. Ironically, that was Chavis' most infamous choke job in his career.

I'll tell ya one thing. If your team is leading by 4 or more and there's 2 minutes left in the game, then you can just chalk up the game as a loss

I'll bet there is a screen TD pass

Chavis is excellent vs Bama. With a competent offense aTm should be very competitive.

They actually have a good offense.

It's funny because no matter how many 3rd down/4th down conversions Chavis' play calling gives up, you still have belief the defense will stop Bama..

Until you don't. It's like a fricking anvil getting dropped on your head.

A&M doesn't have near the talent Chavis had with LSU though. Bama will win decisively.

pretty much. they got a taste of Chavis' two minute defense vs. Tennessee. My PTSD started acting up watching it unfold. If TAMU had been leading by less than 7 points they would have lost the game. Period.

ETA: those two games still irritate the piss outta me. Thanks for bringing it up a-hole.

Offense will score points... And give up turnovers. I see another pick 6 for Knight

I'm not ready to say how well Chavis will do against the zone read looks Kiffin is implementing in his offense right now

Chavis gave them hell with some mediocre LSU teams.

Struggled to end the half and game

Ags better be up by 3 TDs with 2 minutes left if they want the win.

For whatever reason his defense is very likely to get burned right up the gut by running QBs. Dak killed us back in 14 and so did Watson at Clemson 13 maybe. I think it was Watson anyway you get the point I think Hurts will put the Hurt to the aggies a few times. Should be a good game though if Knight doesn't shite the bed.

legitimately good team

Is it, though?
What, objectively, would lead you to believe this?

Do those who have us ranked as one of the top 25 teams in the nation just not know what you know?

Bama's QB will have to throw accurately, Cuz Chief won't let him run rampant a la Matt Mauck in 2001 SECCG. He sees this kid coming a mile a way.

Broken plays may be Bama best friend vs. Chief...I like the fAggies' chances.

That was Tajh Boyd. We couldn't cover Deandre Hopkins either when it mattered most.

Final drive or last drive of the first half will definitely be TD's for Bama. He sucks vs a two minute offense.

Well if it comes down to Alabama having to drive the field at the end of the game to win it. Bet on Alabama.
