DBU is generational it isn't arbitrary
Meaning that it has been passed down from one group of DBs to another.

The state of Texas has the best Safties in the country.
For whatever reason Texas produces great Safties.
LSU at the moment is getting those safties.
Delpit and Adams from a few years ago.

If they’re doing all time they need to do more than rounds 1-5. The draft used to have more than twice that amount of rounds.

You would think with LSU being DBU that a quarterback in the last 20 years would really benefit from having to go up against the so called best DB's in the country and it would make him better and eventually one would earn a starting spot on an NFL Roster. That apparently is not the case.
