I'd say relevancy is more specific to the last decade. We weren't referring to ourselves as DBU before then.

Ucla, texas, and Oklahoma are definitely at the top of the list when i think of defense and defensive backs

Texas has a bunch of DBs currently playing, but they will mostly be gone in the next 3-5 years.
