No, no! Dinardo brought in a #7 ranked LSU into that game. 41-7 Auburn victory. I sat in the LSU section with people from New Orleans. I stood up and cheered on every auburn play until my LSU friends couldn’t vouch for my safety.

As I remember, LSU imploded as much as Auburn beat us. Yet that team nearly beat eventual SEC champion Bama and whupped a good Arkansas team

Too lazy to look but highly doubt LSU was ranked that high. LSU was coming s 4-8 disappointing season and had lost Kevin Faulk, Booger and other talented players. LSU had low expectations in 99.
Maybe you are confusing with it with 04 or maybe 2010.

If Gus/Chad don’t call at least 10 crossing routes where Seth Williams is isolated on a LB or nickle as a result of motion, they should be fired Saturday night. When South Car used Shi on the jet sweep first play of the game, I thought we would see that plus the crossing routes all night. I think they ran the jet once or twice more. They didn’t run one crossing route. Not sure what some of these coaches are doing when breaking down film.
