It seems LSU is now being reevaluated for 2018 and their stock is dropping.

Most Way-Too-Early Preseason polls released immediately following the Championship Game had LSU the 3rd highest ranked team in the West... behind Alabama and Auburn.

But it seems that after the NFL Early exits and the revelation of LSU's brutal schedule next season, LSU's stock is dropping like a rock.

In ESPN's latest Way-To-Early predictions released on Wednesday, the Western teams rank like this:

#1 Alabama
#13 Auburn
#19 Mississippi State
#23 LSU

College Football News just this morning announced their Pre-Spring SEC Rankings:

#1 Alabama
#2 Georgia
#3 Auburn
#4 Mississippi State
#5 LSU
#6 S. Carolina
#7 Florida
#8 Texas A&M
#9 Missouri
#10 Tennessee
#11 Arkansas
#12 Ole Miss
#13 Kentucky
#14 Vanderbilt

Folks seem to be coming around on MSU and realizing LSU has a brutal schedule.

Does Coach O survive finishing 4th in the West?

Are you telling me Mississippi State is undervalued?

No! No way!

This is the second thread from a UGA fan about LSU. What’s going on here?

8 wins or less and we can celebrate the firing of O and Alleva

You're forgetting we re-fricking-promoted a 75 year old OC who didn't even want the job.

The old "put 'LSU' in the thread title to get more replies" trick. I dig it.

The thread would be boring with a title like "ESPN/CFN's Updated Way-Too-Early Preseason Poll With Early Draft Entrants Factored In."

Auburn is too high.

They lost 4 starters off the Oline.

4 starters that got manhandled a few games. Addition by subtraction.

Plus added J.B. Grimes as the new OL coach who seems a better fit at Auburn in terms of development.

So the guys who were not good enough to beat out the manhandled players are going to start and now be better?

Mississippi State not picked last in the SEC west is a clear sign that we are going to win the national championship

Haha State fans give it a rest. You’re never undervalued, y’all lose 4-6 games every year.

I'm cool with that.
Respect is earned on the field.
Until we earn that respect, we deserve to be ranked lower.
