Lsu band an embarrassment but happy to spoil Homecoming

Went to the swamp yesterday and sat in the Gator section after getting tix off Ticketmaster. Couldn't believe what our band did. Our band played over the Danny Wurfel recognition, the swinging back and forth song at the end of the third quarter, and then played over the Tom Petty Tribute. I couldn't believe it. I was shocked at the disrespect. You couldn't hear anything but the band for a little while then Gator fans booed and then started singing a Petty song. I saw the band's response and that is even more embarrassing. Instead of saying we didn't mean to and we are sorry we said it wasn't our fault. We need to stop all the low class behavior in this rivalry. I am usually very proud but today I am embarrassed and say to Gator, Wurfel, and Petty fans that we are sorry it happened, or at least most of us are.

If you read their fb page (yeah I know) they released a statement -- LSU & UF agreed apparently to play at the same time and UF started the Petty tribute 6 minutes early. Google it -- it's on the Rant.
