LSU, Auburn, and Alabama carried the SEC on their backs this past decade

Appears to be a top heavy conference consisting of 3 teams.


2010: Auburn won natty
2011: Alabama won natty/LSU runner-up
2012: Alabama won natty
2013: Auburn runner-up
2015: Alabama won natty
2016: Alabama runner-up
2017: Alabama won natty
2018: Alabama runner-up
2019: LSU won natty




2017: Georgia runner-up

Well for this year I would rate the teams something like this.

LSU
Bama with Tua
Georgia
Florida
Auburn
Bama w/o Tua
A&M
Tennessee
Kentucky
MSU
Mizzou
Carolina
Ole Miss
Vandy
Arkansas

So I think LSU was really the tipping point that made the difference this year between the divisions.

Except for when they played on the field or the rankings at the end of the season, or record against ranked opponents. You know what? UF just wasn't good and UGA was a top 4 team.
