Although I admit it is highly unlikely, it is still possible. What really happens for the sec championship if Bama were to beat Lsu but lose to AU and all 3 teams sit 11-1 with a 1-1 record against each other. Out of curiosity, who gets the nod to play in the sec title? Does it go off point differential or some other element?

*flag on the play
Holding, offense on Auburn. Joe Burrow ejected for targeting as a result. Touchdown 'Bama, play unreviewable.

Goes to 'Bama.

Actually, it's possible and I couldn't say how that comes out. I'm sure there's a tie breaker, even if it's flipping a coin.

2. Three-Team Tie (or more): If three teams (or more) are tied for a division title, the following procedure will be used in the following order: (Note: If one of the procedures results in one team being eliminated and two remaining, the two-team tiebreaker procedure as stated in No. 1 above will be used):

A. Combined head to head record among the tied teams;

B. Record of the tied teams within the division;

C. Head to head competition against the team within the division with the best overall Conference record (divisional and non divisional) and proceeding through the division (multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last and a tie for first place will be broken before a tie for fourth place);

D. Overall Conference record against non divisional teams;

E. Combined record against all common non divisional teams;

F. Record against the common non divisional team with the best overall Conference record (divisional and non divisional) and proceeding through other common non divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division; and

G. Best cumulative Conference winning percentage of non-divisional opponents (Note: If two teams' non-divisional opponents have the same cumulative record, then the two-team tiebreaker procedures apply. If four teams are tied, and three teams' non-divisional opponents have the same cumulative record, the three-team tiebreaker procedures will be used beginning with 2.A.);

Thought it was AP ranking. In which case it's probably Bama due to media bias.

Auburn would probably have the more impressive OOC win though, if Washington and Miami continue their trends.

H. Coin flip of the tied teams with the team with the odd result being the representative (Example: If there are two teams with tails and one team with heads, the team with heads is the representative).

Divisional Tie-Breaker Rules

F and G point to a possible Auburn vs. LSU decision maker decided by whose Eastern Divisional teams have the best cumulative record. They both play UGA so it will come down to UF and Tenn having the better record to decide if LSU or Auburn goes. That's if I read this all wrong, which is very possible

Bama doesn't play anyone from the East, so it should be between Auburn and LSU.

According to SECrant they will only look at QB completion percentage to break the tie.

In the BCS era it went to the highest ranked team in the poll. When the possibility was still there between Arky, Bama and LSU that is what they stated. Not sure if it's still the same in the CFP era.

It would go to LSU because of the Georgia win.

In this case Barn would have beat GA too. So it would be then down to LSU and AUB, I think. LSU has head to head over AUB, and gets 1st? Is that how it works?

Same concept as 2011 with the possible Bama, LSU, Arkansas problem. If Arkansas had beaten LSU, there would have been a three-way tie at 11-1. Eventually, the tie-breaker was just "who is ranked higher on Sunday by the AP poll", so the answer is always that Alabama will go.

Of course it would be decided by these 2 rejects.

Auburn and LSU aren’t beating UGA. I’ll be shocked if Auburn can go between the hedges and get a win. Who knows though.

Well, that would eliminate Georgia, which then I believe this rule would come into effect:

"(Note: If one of the procedures results in one team being eliminated and two remaining, the two-team tiebreaker procedure as stated in No. 1 above will be used): "

So then it would go to head to head, and LSU would go?

If Tennessee has a better record than Florida, Auburn gets it. Otherwise, LSU does.
