UK RB Chris Rodriguez mother passed away from Lupus on 1/11/23. The Lupus awareness color is purple, also his mother's favorite color.
He put a purple facemask on his helmet loaned to him from the LSU football athletic department to honor his mother in the Sr. Bowl game.
