There were, apparently, no interviews of the alleged victims, other witnesses, or of Guice by LSU's Title IX office, or by anyone at LSU officially who knew about the alleged rapes or knew anything at all about what may have happened.

quote:

The group of LSU people who apparently knew something includes women's tennis co-head coach Julia Sell, a diving coach, and LSU Title IX coordinator Jennie Stewart, according to the story. One of Guice's accusers at LSU was on the women's tennis team at the time.

Welp, LSU Title IX department failed to do their job. LSU Athletics found their person to fall on their sword...they still maybe screwed by not following Title IX guidelines.

What LSU did, and didn't, do

I await the triggered keyboard warriors...

Lol and nothing will happen to the football team. Title 9 fricked up. Let's see this play out in the courts, though.

Justice will be served one way or another.

Wrong again.
It was reported in the N.O. and B.R. Advocate and on WWL news yesterday, that the attorney for Derrius Guice received communication from the Baton Rouge Police Dept, the LSU Police, and the University Administration itself, that they do not have a record of any complaints made or calls coming in on these alleged incidents.
In other words, the University as well as the police never received any complaints during those time periods and do not have any record of receiving any.
Sorry to get your hopes up and burst your bubble.

I'm not sure what he thinks they should have done, neither alleged victim would file a report. One of them is unstable and was kicked off the team for drug use

"He's like a god around here," a nurse at LSU's health center told one of Guice's accusers shortly after the alleged rape in 2016, according to the story. "It probably would get pushed under the rug," the nurse reportedly said.

Guice was definitely not like a god around here in 2016. A reported, alleged anon quote from nurse carries a lot of weight these days so what do I know?

Dude - you can't shame trash from Louisiana. They are damn proud of their cheating. Just read some old posts. If it isn't gleaming with pride, it deflects to some master level deflection.

I know nothing of the case and what you say is probably 100% accurate but if the alleged victim has some sort of viable evidence that any of those three were indeed aware of the allegations its a shite show of epic proportions. Again, probably nothing at all there but if there is the cover up will be the story not the rape.

Yep. Women have been sexually assaulted and have had their lives changed forever, and his first question is how this could effect the football team. Very sad.

Don't criticize someone's improper use of grammar when you can't be bothered to end your sentence correctly.
