LSU fan here. I want to know from fellow tiger fans who was the best in state player that went to Bama instead of picking LSU. I cannot think of his name now but mine would be the left tackle that Saban stole and started as a freshman

Just trying to help Bama fans feel good about themselves this morning

See first result.

Also losing Eddie Lacy hurt, especially because he played high school ball about 20 minutes away from LSU’s campus. But we are always pretty stacked at running back so that eased the pain.

Lacy wasn't really a steal per say. IIRC he failed to qualify, then Alabama got him in late in the summer. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Honestly the backs we had at the time kind of offset the loss of Lacy. Ware, Hill, Ridley, Blue, Ford, Murphy. Doubt Lacy would've had the same impact at LSU as he had at Alabama.

I would say Landon Collins and Cam Robinson were the only "irreplaceable" losses in state. Every other guy we lost to Alabama in state, we've had an appropriate replacement for (Devonta Smith for Justin Jefferson for example).

I'd rethink that one. Ala had pretty good RB's too (ingram, richardson, yeldon).

Wouldn't it be better to have both?

Oh no i I know that, just saying specifically that Eddie Lacy wasn't on the same level as Collins/Robinson in terms of irreplaceability.

Of course, but my point was that, other than Collins and Robinson, and I guess Tim Williams, we haven't lost LA guys to Alabama where their replacement didn't match their production/impact

Landon Collins would fit that bill

This is the sort of insecurity that makes me feel full. Schadenfreude is so filling.

Well you ARE a fan of InsecueU, so I see why you’d be pining for a reason to feel insecure. Unfortunately, LSU fans are anything but insecure right now. I think our heads have gotten a little too big, actually.

I'm sure I am missing some, but I feel like Cam Robinson and Landon Collins were the only 2 that I felt like LSU truly gave it everything for, lost, and regretted it for years.

Devonta Smith was a miss that I wish we had, but WR is the one position LSU fans were probably completely okay missing on 1 guy since we got 3 other 1st-round type guys.

Shyiem Carter would have been nice to have, but wasn't really a big loss.

There were guys that we gave it everything for that were just duds:
Bradley Sylve
Hootie Jones

There were guys we didn't even recruit:
Irv Smith Jr. - Still don't understand how we didn't see how good this guy could be

There were guys that had extenuating circumstances to their recruitment:
Eddie Lacy - Grades
Tim Williams - Can't remember what it was with him, but I know for a while most every team backed off on him and everyone thought he was going to Miami.
Isaiah Buggs - JUCO

TBD:
Dylan Moses - Without his injury he is probably in the category of true misses and regrets
Chris Allen
Phidarian Mathis
Ish Sopsher

I Agree with the Metairie Kunt who cannot wear his Gump Gear in Public !!!

After Clemson DC Bent Genitals broke a monster cock (44 in Long with 16 in girth) off in Sabah’s arse (and yours Gump Gimp), I truly enjoyed your suffering and Whimpering

MELT was epic — The squealing delightful !!!

True schadenfreude then came when Ed Orgeron then broke Sabah and you Gump Gimp again when he put that size 12 shoe up your asses. But it wasn’t over.

Dump Jones was your savior and he would lead you to the playoffs in 2019.

Dump took a huge dump vs Gus and poor Sabah and his Metairie Gimp with red rubber ball had to whimper again — Its SO UNFAIR

That’s schadenfreude! Poor Sabah can’t see a box of Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes without losing his schitt.

And a schadenfreude bonus:

Dump Jones is lining Sabah and his Metairie Gimp Up for another Triple Gang Bang in 2020 — We know it’s unfair — But we just enjoy seeing Gumps Whimper so much !

Who’s gonna be the first the shag Sabah in 2020? GA or TN — Lololololol
