Unidentified sources close to the program say that potential discussions may open when and if Missouri and Kentucky go to the Big 10 that LSU and Arkansas will also maybe potentially possibly enter into discussions with the Big XII about something.
This source is as credible as the Missouri source.

Dang, well it was fun while it lasted. Goodbye Florida. Y’all were the only fun game anyway

A 10 team SEC on a 9 game rotation and best 2 in SEC CG. Wouldn't be awful.
Eta: keep LSU and give back aTm un the scenario

And only have one SEC school per state. Get rid of Vandy, Miss. State, Auburn, and either Missouri or Arkansas. Would be a great conference.

Let’s be real, if we were sizing down, and we aren’t, Missouri and A&M would be the first to go

This is dumb but I will play. Aggies are not going anywhere. Way too many TVs in Texas.

Ah yes. I'm sure the SEC commissioner is gonna get rid of an AAU school that is the largest school in the P5, with the most money in the SEC, in the biggest TV markets in the SEC footprint. In favor for, say Arkansas or South Carolina. Sorry, but you're stuck with us.

The SEC would fold without LSU.

Which is why we aren’t downsizing
If we were to we wouldn’t get rid of any senior members, and A&M brings in too much to get rid of

The SEC wouldn't 'fold' if any single member left. Let alone LSU.

Just shut up. This is beyond idiotic. Like the SEC would lose their most influential team of the last twenty years.

LewDawg -- I think in the original guidelines for posting it required a link to a legitimate source of information and rumor starting was met with a ban.

Mississippi state is a more consistent and stable football program than Ole Miss in 2020. They’ve been steady. Ole Miss is garbage and thinks they’re some blue blood.

Auburn is a founding member of the SEC, WE AREN’T GOING ANYWHERE

Would love this. Get rid of Arkansas, South Carolina, Missouri and Texas A&M. They take more than they give the conference.
