Maybe as LSU fans we should temper our expectations a bit.

Aggy almost lost to Tennessee who almost lost to Appalachian state. That's not how football works you can do it for any team.

I agree that some LSU fans have way too high expectations for the rest of the year though.

And then promptly fired the head coach responsible for underutilizing talent and grossly mismanaging games.

New season, bro. Get caught up to speed.

And LSU fired the coach because of it.

Thanks for the insight.

LSU didn't almost lose to Miss St.

- never trailed in the game
- opponent never threatened to score once within one score

It would be more accurate to say we barely beat them. But we didn't almost lose.

It was classic Les Miles....up by three tds at half...beating them up and down the field. Then hold up!! Let's sit on the lead and let them creep back! As O would say..."No Mas!"

That's what people don't understand. If Les Miles were coaching against Missouri we would have come out in the second half and run out the I- form the rest of the game. Yea that might have worked against Missouri anyway, but its that attitude that has bitten us so many times. The change in that under O was so refreshing to see.
