The downside is having to get the portal players acclimated to the system in a short time instead of players coming up through the system.
Over time it will probably give us more competitive games to watch overall.

on 2/1/23 at 7:35 pm to Clark14I agree to an extent, but it’s more important to recruit the portal to get guys who buy in and fit in with what you’re building as a coach. Just getting great players in the portal isn’t enough if they don’t fit in with the culture you’re building.
