I have no problem with the portal, it’s been beneficial to us since we have trouble luring top high school kids.

The downside is having to get the portal players acclimated to the system in a short time instead of players coming up through the system.

Over time it will probably give us more competitive games to watch overall.

I agree to an extent, but it’s more important to recruit the portal to get guys who buy in and fit in with what you’re building as a coach. Just getting great players in the portal isn’t enough if they don’t fit in with the culture you’re building.

You being an Arky fan will understand this as Greg Brooks exemplified these qualities

So experienced and proven college players get Less money than HS recruits? You’re a clown bro.
