LSU - Texas A&M rivalry fact of the day

In the series there have been a total of three ties. The first occurred in Houston on November 27, 1913 as 7-7. The second was scoreless in College Station on October 16, 1920 as 0-0, but the third was again 7-7 in Baton Rouge on October 8, 1966.

Those look like the tops of coconut palms above the stadium and given the uniform style, I’d say old Miami Orange Bowl before upper deck added.

It was always there. 2 wins out of the last 3 years just put a little more fuel on the fire. I figure Jimbo is one more win from getting this thing to full Westcoast brush fire mode.
