Close call between all three. All are great recruiting schools, though I can't remember many, if any, venturing 2 states over.

After Katrina hit, talent from the NO area was sparce and we definitely missed the talent we usually recruited in those areas. With that area recovering well and Frank Wilson on board now....it is a thing of beauty the talent coming heading to BR from those areas now

The difference is that Curtis kids can usually be counted on to qualify....Karr not so much.

Since Jabbar Juluke started at Karr, they've never had a kid sign a letter of intent and fail to qualify.

Since 2000, two Curtis kids with LSU offers chose to go elsewhere.

What else would you like me to prove you wrong about?

Search your own board (tigerdroppings) and you will see at least a half dozed threads about this subject. Apparently a good portion of the LSU fanbase agrees with my comment. You can chose to believe what you want, but stealing Duke Riley from Ole Miss and TCU does't mean J.T. is a fan of LSU.

When LSU fans claim a kid never had an offer when he chooses another school, that doesnt make it so...... :

i think Curtis will be down a little bit, but that's relative when you still have Malachi Dupre on your roster

this year will be St. Aug's time to shine. they didn't bring in Cyril Crutchfield to lose to East Jefferson and bow out in the quarterfinals. they're not just Fournette.

Karr has talent, but they also have to transition on the sidelines.

the rest of NOLA needs to step their game up

Which kids are you talking about? Who did LSU fans claim never had an offer when they chose another school with an LSU offer in hand?

Nobody cares bout Metry... They don't count.

J/k

I just didn't see many rummel kids listed life the other three. But I've heard some hype around town. You gotta have 22, not just a couple of beasts.

People from outside the state of Louisiana don't understand how a 2-A team can win the national championship in high school football.

That would be like Mount Union 15-0 (Division 3) winning the AP National Championship in college football.

They're only in 2A (now moving up to 3A) because of Louisiana's backwards way of counting enrollment. Principals from bigger schools got tired of losing to Curtis, so they instituted a rule disallowing them to play above their enrollment.

In other states, private school enrollment is counted using a multiplier. In Louisiana, that is not the case.

We had a principal this year bitch and complain about unfair recruiting advantages for private school football teams, while conveniently ignoring that her own school brought in a baseball player from 3 or 4 hours away for his senior year.

except for when they played even competition, they still bitchslapped the team from Florida

that, their talent, and J.T. were what separated them from Karr and Rummel, who won state in 4A and 5A but only finished in the 30s in the national poll

this year, Curtis starts in the top 10, St. Aug in the top 30, and Karr in the top 50 IMO
