Alabama game - 21 penalties for 204 yards
Auburn game - 22 penalties for 205 yards

I dont think I can remember a Auburn game with that many penalties

It was crazy

CFB now is miserable because the refs are too involved. Let them just play!!

Honestly can't remember but we did not get called for penalties that were not real. And to be honest, they missed some on both sides. Most were pretty obvious

Both teams were sloppy

Shitty crews for both games. Hopefully they were using game one as a warm up and just calling everything they could for their own practice. Otherwise, these games - especially the ones aired on CBS, will end up lasting 5 hours.

Absurd.

Both games were hard to watch with the calls.

As much as a homer as we can all be during games, I prefer games where the refs let them play

A lot of Auburn penalties were straight up on us. Can’t blame refs on too many. But way too many to have in big games down the road.

It's getting harder to watch. Especially since you cant tackle anyone taller than you now..

Right? The "targeting" on Bama. The "late hit" against Louisville?

Let them play football
