Lost respect for Dabo and T Lawrence

I’ve always liked Dabo...obviously a great coach and a good guy. All of his whining for the last month, the way he has to shoehorn every one of Clemson’s accomplishments into every interview, him acting like a 13-yr old on the sideline after they scored on that reverse has made me lose respect for him.
I’ve lost respect for T Lawerence as a player. Is he really that good? Is he really a high performer or just a high ceiling guy? In the championship against Bama his receivers made incredible plays time and time again. Those weren’t great passes. Last night, he got happy feet, made poor decisions and was flat out inaccurate on a lot of balls. He averaged less than 260 yds a game passing this season...
Has he been anointed the next great thing too soon? I’m starting to think so.

BS. Dabo was total class in his post game interview. Talked up LSU and O. However, I never heard O congratulate Clemson for a great season.

Dabo is a great guy, lots of respect to him. He played the underdog card for 2 weeks to motivate his team, he knew their margin was razor thin. I watched his post game speech, he wasn’t surprised or upset at the outcome. He knew what he was up against. He knew both teams. He acted like he was just happy to make the Championship ( lucky to win against OSU). High respect for this guy...

Yep. Very classy in post-game.
I just get tired of hearing his little Ole Clemson comments and him taking shots at the SEC. That gets old, especially when you have played in so many playoff games the last few years.

This is true, the throws from one championship game to the next didn’t look different just against bama his receivers came up with every insane catch.
His footwork and pocket movement is bad. Even when there’s a pocket he’ll throw falling away from the defender instead of climbing the pocket
Reminds me of cam newton who never developed pocket skills. Burrow’s are the most elite i’ve ever seen.

The whining and aw shucks annoyed me but nothing else. Lawrence was fine, they ran into a better team.

But even a whiner can show class in a concession speech after the predictable arse whooping. Let’s just say I’m now willing to give his arseholeness some doubt now.

Now for Lawrence. If by respect you mean assessment of QB skills; then yes my respect has been diminished. He apparently is a good college dual threat QB that had a magical game against Bama last year. Not great. Good. But he’s young and can develop.
If you mean losing respect of him as a person, I haven’t seen or heard anything to do that. Perhaps I wasn’t in the woods either.
