Article on ESPN about brain cyst. Says he will coach as long as he can. Trying to get pity and setting up his exit plan it seems.

He’ll leave Ohio State after this year and magically feel better when the USC job opens up.

He’s a helluva coach, but apparently the stress of maintaining excellence at one place wears on him.
Further evidence of the distance that Saban has created between himself and Urbz in terms of greatness.

Great.
Could see Urban leaving for 1 year and appearing at USC or somethin. And if our season continues to go well, O state makes a run at stoops if others don't pan out

It’s all fun and games to joke about him because he’s been a POS of late, but if this dude actually dies or something I’m sort of gonna feel like shite

Think he would go to Florida State with his ties there?

Wonder if a 5yr/50mm contract from Jimmy Haslam would have any therapeutic value

Stoops might, only place outside OSU and Iowa I'd think he'd leave for.

Urban is the fastest kid on the play ground.
Never lost a race where he didn’t pull up lame.

Well I'll actually believe him on this one. Its been known for years that Urban has an arachnoid cyst. Here's a news paper article from 6 years ago about it.
LINK
It explains quite a bit about his behavior. Extreme stress exacerbates the symptoms, which it turn probably leads to the Urban Meyer we've all seen looking like a zombie the first time something goes seriously wrong.
Stress won't cause the cyst to start growing. It just makes them suck a lot, lot worse.
He should step away from coaching. He's got more money then some third world countries. Urbz can easily get a job as an analyst (either on TV or for some college team) and stay connected to football but with a much lower level of stress on him. He's already in the history books with Saban as the only two coaches to win a natty at two different schools.
Don't get me wrong. I think the guy is a first class creep. I wouldn't piss on him if he burst into flames in front of me. I'm just saying he has the means to retire right now and do something that would help him to manage his health quite a bit better.
