Looking back now, was the app state loss an upset?

6 consecutive SEC losses followed by a 20-3 victory over the worst team in the nation. Was app st an upset or would they beat a&m more than 5 times out of 10 this year?

Maybe. But I also think the trainwreck could have been a result of losing that game. Probably got in the minds of the team.

This was not a good App state team

The one that beat Michigan in the big house went on to win the playoff. This App State team has 4 or 5 losses

App lost to James Madison, Marshall, and Texas State. So not a great team. But then again neither is Aggie.

That same game put Michigan in a state of purgatory for a decade.
