He will obviously get a big fat raise this off-season, but with him seemingly at his dream job, I wonder if LSU will try and go cheap on his raise.
There are some guys making some jack on this list.

Will O ever get into the top 5-10 range when he's making sure he pays his assistants enough to keep them?

The Dan Mullen number is insane considering his production. To pay him close to Lincoln Riley....wow
Jeff Brohm wtf!
Jeff Brohm wtf!

You point out Mullen and UF first, but how about Harbaugh, Herman, Malzahn, Brohm, and Jimbo. All underperforming in comparison to Mullen and making more. Mullen is probably a top 10 coach in the country, I have no issues with him being paid like one.

We save a boatload of money by not needing the "Hey coach...12 is too many players at a time" coach.

Who knows....but you do know he took less so he could pay his assistants more?

The frick? That’s like Vandy paying a coach 6.6 mil

If O wins the conference title but doesn't win the national championship, he'll basically have the same resume as Kirby and Gus. So a salary in the $6.7, $6.8 million range sounds fair.

Why does Purdue pay their coach so much?
Posted on 12/5/19 at 9:27 am to TheIndulger
Because Louisville came calling.

You have included uniformed assumptions that just aren't true.
