Longest streaks with a winning season
Alabama - 26 (1958-1983)
Florida - 25 (1988-2012)
LSU - 19 (2000-) Active
LSU - 16 (1958-1973)
Tennessee - 16 (1989-2004)
Next longest active streaks
Alabama - 12 (2007-)
Texas A&M - 9 (2010-)**
Georgia - 8 (2011-)
*This DOES NOT include .500 finishes
**Including A&M's even though they weren't SEC when the streak started.
-Do you think LSU can catch Florida or Alabama?
-How long will Alabama's current streak get to?

Does Saban have at least seven more years to tie LSU's current, assuming O goes under .500.

I am surprised the streaks are not longer than that. Every school on that list plus Auburn should have a winning record every year.

For your dogs...the longest streak is 13 (1997-2009).
Some other SEC School Streaks of interest (to someone, I guess):
Ole Miss - 13 (1951-1963)
Kentucky - 11 (1946-1956)

Saban started both streaks.

I think you have a reading comprehension problem.
Every school on the list includes UGA.

LSU will easily beat the record. The only thing that gives me a slight doubt is our ogre of a head coach

Nothing wrong with setting that bar high.

The list is for the longest streak for each school with consecutive seasons above .500. The longest the University of Georgia has gone above .500 consecutively is 13 seasons 1997-2009).
So it is you, who has the reading comprehension problem.

Vandy went 21 consecutive seasons above .500...but most of it predated the SEC (1915-1935).

plus Auburn
Auburn inexplicably lays an egg every few years. Out of the blue a 5-7 year.

And my point is that the streak should be longer than that for UGA.
BTW, no need for a comma between you and who there.
