Just because LSU was down doesn’t mean the whole SEC was down. Florida, Georgia, A&M were good teams. Auburn and ND were decent. Ohio State didn’t deserve to be there but nonetheless was still a very talented team and not an easy win.
With that being said, it’s still not as sweet as if it would have been done with full stadiums and a full schedule the way that LSU and Clemson have done it. People laugh at all of the rent a win games and the 1 OOC game but those are extra games that add up when you still have a full sec slate in front of you.

I dunno, both 2019 and 2020 had all-time great teams at LsU and Alabama. I have no problem with LSU fans arguing about this in good faith. It's all good.
