Arkansas and A&M are both unproven this year, beating us doesn't make you national champ contenders, but losing definitely takes that out of the picture for you. I'm glad y'all wiped the floor with texas but if we considered every team that beats texas a 'national championship contender' then we are gonna fill up all 4 playoff spots quickly most years

You can’t even make the 4 spots. You finished outside last year and have somehow moved down in rankings even though you’ve beat your cupcakes. We’ve move up a lot. Like from 80s, rewarded for performances.

This isn't about A&M, you claimed that piggy is a title contender and all I'm saying is you have a lot of games to play before you can make that claim with any merit. Same goes for A&M, we haven't played anyone good so our team is unproven also.
That's because we don't get special treatment from the polls/playoff committee like ohio st., clemson, oklahoma, etc. Oklahoma should have moved down after two of their wins this year, and I think clemson dropped after their win last week.

barely beating teams should move you down in ranking. Wish that held true for all teams. The idea of scraping by and staying in the same spot doesn't make sense in the top 10. Losing our starting qb threw even more question marks into our offense so yes moving us was the right thing to do.
