I'd want to scrub most of my football history too if I were an LSU fan.

Texas' football history consists of 1963-1970 and 2005. Glass houses, bud

Bluebloods are rare. Very rare.
Not in the mind of Texas. His definition is how they see themselves. Because they won a national championship in 1969 (literally cited in a post on this board) they believe they are relevant today.

Other than that, I agree with your assessment.

add Tennessee in 1998 and Auburn in 2010

5 different SEC teams have won championships with Georgia having played for one.

This was about blue bloods and I don’t consider 1 title a member of the blue blood group. If you noticed I had 11 of the 13 accounted for with Bama, LSU And UF. I left off the other 2.

The Blue Bloods have made it to

1. National Championship game in football
2. Final Four
3. College World Series

Since conference expansion

Now, you can name them

Outside the top 10 in virtually all metrics. LSU is new in the football scene. Not a blueblood.

I hate to break it to you, but relying on past success only shows that you have no faith in your current position or for the future of your team. You're a small fry in the big leagues now. In all seriousness, champ, you wouldn't hold a candle against even a mid-tier school in our conference... regardless of the sport. Our conference is better at basketball, better at football, better at baseball, better at sharpshooting and archery, hell... even better at cheerleading that anything you have been used to. Put on your big boy pants, because nobody here cares about your donors. You all can't even handle horns down because you're so sensitive. How the frick are you going to handle Moo U with their cowbells? Y'all screwed in a way you don't even know

I had forgot about this post, so thanks for bumping it.

Still no valid arguments for any school other than TEXAS that is a blue blood in 2 of 3 majors.

Carry on.

Where is your valid or otherwise argument that Texas qualifies for your mythical "blueblood" in 2 sports? You have made ZERO argument why you deserve such worthless distinction.

Why scrub history from competing in a legitimate conference?

Answer me this—how many of the Texass Ws over the years were piled up against sub-standard teams like Rice, Cougar High, SMU, TCU, Baylor, Iowa State & KU?

You’re about to be taught a lesson in big-boy CFB. Grab your a** & hold on.

4 pages and no legitimate claims of schools other than Texas that can claim this.

This is why the SEC wanted TEXAS.

I love that Texas has supplanted Alabama as the main villain. Overnight.

LSU and UF. UF has won 2 basketball, 1 baseball and 3 football.
LSU has won 5 baseball, 3 football (played for 4) and went to 1 final four.

What the frick are you talking about? LSU has the same number of football ans baseball championships. Considering 3 of ours came during a time when you actually had to EARN the championship and when there was segregation, I feel pretty damn strong about us owning your sorry asses.
And yes, we have one an NCAA MBB title abs been to multiple final fours. There is only one team that can make that claim in the conference.

I posted that elsewhere today.

It's Bama with 6 and then us with 3. Few schools tied at 2 and then about seven with 1.

Texas is only a blue blood in football in your own mind. Y’all haven’t been fricking relevant in almost 20 years.

Now, this is where you tell us how great Texas was in the fricking 60’s.

Hey thanks for letting us know, I was happy we beat y’all in 2019, but now that I know you are self appointed blue bloods, it means just that much more knowing we sent home little lord Fauntleroy with an arse beating.

That Texas win is the win that just keeps on giving and giving and giving
