Mark Stoops (Kentucky)
Derek Mason (Vanderbilt)
Ed Orgeron (LSU)

Incredible that the "4th" best coach in the country has a losing conference record.

So what does that say about the coaches beat the shite out of last year?

I like your thinking. LSU should have added another trophy to the huge 2019 case with Most Improved Coach.

Response thread

You also left out Jeremy Pruitt. Will Muschamp, Dan Mullen, and Lane Kiffin are at exactly .500 in the SEC

Mark Stoops is ranked 22 and Dan Mullen is ranked 8 in the same poll.

Should people care more about Orgeron's 3-21 record at Ole Miss from 2005-2007 or his 23-7 record at LSU from 2016-present?

I mean there’s no denying that his stint at Ole Miss was a disaster. However I think he’s proven over the past few years that he’s a pretty damn good football coach.

Idk who you are trying to troll, but the only people who need to be ashamed about are Ole Miss Fans

LSU is 27-7 against SEC teams when Ed Orgeron is Coaching

I mean, I'd argue Stoops is one of the better coaches in the SEC despite his losing SEC record. Because he had to inherit a bunch of 2-win MAC players and a huge losing culture issue. He's broken even the last four years.

Not every coach had to cut their teeth playing at a small school in the best division in college football.

Some get to play in the SEC East.

I know. That's probably about right, with maybe a couple guys that we could argue he was better than ahead of him.

But that same list has Harbaugh close to Top 10. He's certainly not that as a college coach. So list is probably shite anyway.

This has to make Ole Miss look bad...

Orgeron, Tuberville, and Nutt all coached there, and all won an SEC title at another program.

Edit- Nutt didn't win a title, but did win the West and go to Atlanta
