Looking at the history of the SEC it appears that the last SEC east team to win it all was 2008 Florida. Maybe this is a sign of things to come with Bama. They could be the new Jawja.

Well if Arlington becomes the site of the SEC championship then of course we wont...unless a playoff or the national title game is played at the peach bowl.

I look forward to it, truly. I think moving to the SEC will force Texas to get smarter with how they run things, because that seems to be the issue- much as it was the issue for Alabama in the late 90s-2000s. It's easy to be lazy when there's only one legitimate program in your conference, but going up against 6 of them will be a much-needed challenge for UT

I hope this means we get to play Florida again every year! Always my favorite game when I was in school. Of course those were the Spurrier days too!

I think it was 1990 and pat dye on his weekly show said Florida was gonna be a cakewalk and Florida then goes on to trounce auburn. Lol
