So you're saying there's a chance.
Just kidding. I just hope we can put up a fight against Kansas.

Just a bad time to catch them on the schedule during a transition year. Hopefully we can keep it competitive through most of the game.

Maybe it’s been discussed, but how the hell is UF favored over #1 Baylor?
Posted on 1/25/20 at 12:22 pm to UFownstSECsince1950
Because there are no elite teams in college basketball this season and home-court is huge

Im wondering if this is the first time a #1 has been a dog against an NR.
I was looking at this game thinking Baylor is vulnerable for the upset, but not even calling it an upset? is there something about the match up or is this just vegas balancing the bets?

I was coming to ask this exact question.. How the hell can you have Baylor at the 1 then? That makes no sense at all

ESPN's BPI has a 60% of UF winning. The #1 and #30 team are just closer this year than they've ever been, and, again, homecourt is huge

well sure but vegas doesnt give a shite about espn BPI. Theres something built into BPI that favors blueblood teams hardcore, and doesnt seem to change based on season performance. same thing with FPI. ESPN metrics jump the shark anytime the preseason power doesnt perform to expectation. For example wasn't Alabama ahead of LSU in FPI literally every week of the year?
