LSU 2019 greatest National Championship team and best season in college football. Simple as that. Here is more proof as to why.
* Joe Burrow: 5,671 pass yds
* Clyde Edwards-Helaire: 1,414 rush yds
* Ja'Marr Chase: 1,780 rec yds
* Justin Jefferson: 1,540 rec yds
LSU Football is the only team in FBS history to have a 5,000-yard passer, a 1,000-yard rusher and two 1,500-yard receivers in the same season.
And I am not the only one to understand this!!!

O/U 10 years of LSU fans being frozen in 2019.....I say OVER

Anyone who is not a salty LSU fan can see why the offensive comparisons are being made
-Unheralded QB having a ridiculous season
-Absurd receiving talent
-Elite runningback
-O-Line of the year award
-Elite playcalling
All leading to an undefeated season where the Offense scored pretty much whenever they wanted to
Covid absolutely throws a monkey wrench into everything but you’re fooling yourself if you think Bama’s offense wouldn’t have been amazing in any season

On 125 more pass attempts
Mac has a higher yards per attempt

Um Najee had more. In 3 less games.

Smith had more. In 3 less games.

Waddle was on track for 2,216 yards in a 15 game season before he got hurt.

LSU fans are so terrified of someone taking away their self-proclaimed "greatest team of all time" that they keep on defending it even when no one is attacking them.

Bama isn’t in this conversation. Not their fault, but any serious discussion about this year, covid related, is tainted. No teams were ever at full strength, home field advantages just weren’t the usual around the country. They were the best team, no doubt, but to compare this year to any other is a joke...and not Bama’s fault, just lose any comparative analysis
