I wouldn't worry about that

Is Bama on the decline or is UT back? or Both?
Let's say uga players and coaches had that kind of attitude after Alabama dominated them in the SEC title game last year.
See how stupid that is?

How about neither? Maybe its just a fluke. LSU lost to them by 6 points last year and went 6-7 while Bama made the CFP.

Most teams would have felt zero pressure playing a shitty Kansas team at home last year, but we appreciate your honesty.

NOT gonna happen. Bama beats them like a rented mule.

I don’t understand the surety that this game will be a blowout. Texas may not be “back” but they aren’t Little Sisters if the Poor. Sark is a very creative coach. I’ll take a 7 pt win.

So you are saying we are high?

I hate to agree with a Texas fan but if Texas plays well, shows some heart, and doesn't melt down that would be pretty good for them.
A win would be wonderful of course, but what you have got to avoid at this stage of the rebuild is Alabama coming in and absolutely walking the dog on you in front of God and everybody. Recruits remember the big wins, but they really remember the big beatings.

This game will NOT be a blowout. Sark has been preparing his team all Summer for this game. He is the best offensive play caller in the game today. They will keep Bama’s D on their toes all game long. They will also have a much improved defense themselves. I’ll take a 7 or win all day long and get the hell out of Austin, Tx with a W.

If Alabama wins every game by 7 points or less, they will be national champions.
You make it sounds like it's a bad thing.

Since this is a home-and-home series, with Texas finally filling recruiting clases that will allow them to compete within the SEC, I'd argue next year's visit is more important to Bama fans than Saturday's matchup amounts to.

I can see us covering and being happy with that.

I wouldn't be just blown away if this game is closer than people think it will be. What does Texas have to lose? They'll give Alabama their best shot.

I would be very surprised with this. I would be SHOCKED if Bama doesn't win by at least 17 points, if anything Saban might not put on the gas. This may be competitive early, but when momentum shifts it won't shift back.

Texas has also won games they were supposed to lose. Many times. Usually, when they weren't given a chance. "... always on my mind..."
I think Sark can do something with Ewers' quick release and 5* targets at RB, WR & TE.
Gary Patterson, the longtime TCU Coach, has been working on the game plan since he got here. His input on the defense showed last week. I like the match up with BO'B.
Texas is over matched on paper. Good thing they play the game on the field. DKR's gonna be rockin'.

A lot of this will depend on how it happens.
Is it like the Ole Miss game a few years back where Alabama turned the ball over 5 times and still almost won? That wouldn't be a worry at all.
Or is like Alabama got shut down, or Alabama couldn't shut down part of the game? That would be a worry.
Also, don't give a shite if Texas is back.

Picking point spreads is obviously risky but there are 2 facts that I can't get beyond:
1. Inexperienced (though talented) QB.
2. Young and iffy O line.

Guess it’s lucky for Texas that Saban and O’Brien haven’t had the same amount of time to prepare for Texas as Sark and Patterson have had to prepare for Alabama. LOL
