Is Bama on the decline or is UT back? or Both?

Alabama wins a game, moves to 2-0 and gets ready for their next game against Monroe.

Why not use a number that could theoretically occur?

Like how about horn keeps it within 30 points

Yeah, I don't really care what anyone thinks about either program, as long as it's a win.

There's still a lot of football left to be played afterwards.

If that happens, it’ll almost certainly be a shootout. So “Fire Golding” will be the pervasive narrative

I would say that Texas is improving.
I certainly don't see Alabama in any kind of decline.

You talkin' about the first quarter?

I'd probably feel like UGA was better and not about even right now.

Arkansas lost to Alabama last year by 7, no one thought Alabama was on the decline then.

1 year later and no Natty, they might.

Texas gets a pick six and runs one back….still loses by 4 touchdowns.

Imagine this being the standard for your team.

Sorry you can’t relate.

By no means am I stating it will give us an angle or some weird intangible edge to find success but I'm 40 and been a fan my entire life and really can't remember a game where there has been almost zero pressure on our team. 1996 Big 12 championship ( 21 pt dogs to Nebraska ) comes to mind, but I would say even that wasn't on this level.

I've never been more open to moral victories than this game. 95% we're going to be 1-1 after Saturday but the way this game plays out will have much to do with the continued trajectory of this team in regards to team psyche, recruiting efforts and not upending positive momentum, that for the moment, exists.

I'm setting the bar for a moral victory whether or not we are in the game at the start of the 4th Q.

If we somehow did win there's still so much youth and development needed on this team that we could still lose 2-3 games easily. That's no disrespect to Alabama, that's just seeing this team play for the last decade and a half. We could win and not be back, win a conference title and I'll roll more with the 'We're back" moniker.

Don’t care if we win by blocking an extra point. A win is a win.

I was pleased with how we played Bama last year. And we lost by a lot more than seven. Losing to Bama by seven would be the most impressive thing Texas had done in a few years
