Let's pray for Gus

My impression of auNecks in reaction to firing of Malzahn:
No one enjoys getting fired and Gus is going to be real sad and we, as auNeck Nation, need to lift him up and pray for his mental health and well-being.
Gus loved the children and the children he coached are why he did it, not for money, he was auNeck through and through and lived by the cow pasture creed that we all strive to follow.
The children he coached have lost a true friend and a man that truly cared for each and every one of them and their families.
Gus doesn't care about the buyout, he could take it or leave it. He cares more for us, as fans, than he does about money. He loved us and we loved him because he was auNeck to the core.
He wasn't a mercenary like Satan who has skipped from job to job during his whole career just based on who pays him the most and will leave those stupid Bammers again just as soon as he is offered more money.
Saban doesn't love his children that he coaches like Gus did; he only cares about fame and fortune and is what the Bammers deserve.
Gus cared about his children and wanted them all to have a better life by living the auNeck creed and tried to lead them on a straight path. It wasn't even about coaching football for Gus, he didn't really care about that, he was a good person who did things the right way and did things the auNeck way.

Omg! "I'm back" poster is awful! Probabably some 12 yr old in a trailer park who has never stepped foot on the UA campus!

Your team is 10-0, ranked #1 in the nation, days away from playing in the SEC Championship, followed by the playoffs. And yet here you are writing an incoherent, rambling diatribe about Auburn, a team I’m sure you profess vehemently isn’t important to you in the slightest.

Actually, it's a shame that Malzhan was fired for just being a good man and a good person who cares about his players and never cared about money.
He lived the auNeck creed to its fullest and this is how he was rewarded. Listen, every team can't have a mercenary who has no feelings and doesn't care about anything like Saban.
That isn't what the auNeck fambly is about and it never has been. Why was Malzhan fired? For being a slightly above average coach? Many teams would be extremely grateful to have him as their coach.
Not this new breed of auNecks though; they don't care about their own creed and values any longer. It's sad.

Now you’re up to two incoherent, rambling diatribes.

He cared; he deserved better. Now he is unemployed and shamed by ungrateful auNecks who care more about winning games than living with good, cow pasture values as they have in the past.

You aren't a real auNeck and probably never have been. This is the creed real auNecks live by.
quote:
The Auburn Creed
I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore, I believe in work, hard work.
I believe in education, which gives me the knowledge to work wisely and trains my mind and my hands to work skillfully.
I believe in honesty and truthfulness, without which I cannot win the respect and confidence of my fellow men.
I believe in a sound mind, in a sound body and a spirit that is not afraid, and in clean sports that develop these qualities.
I believe in obedience to law because it protects the rights of all.
I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all.
I believe in my Country, because it is a land of freedom and because it is my own home, and that I can best serve that country by "doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God."
And because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.
-George Petrie (1943)
I guess another entry should be added now.
quote:
I believe that during a pandemic and time of great strife in our nation, the practical thing to do is to fire a gentle, loving, good man who loved auNeckery and lived auNeckery with all his heart so we can win win a couple more football games a year, maybe.

He not good. What about the humilation of being fired for nothing, really, other than doing his best and being a good person who loved his players?
Now, what are they going to do? They relied on him for guidance and strength. It's like the auNeck administration and boosters don't care about anything but winning one or two more games a season.
That's messed up, bro.
